This is for the guys who have the non Pro version. I have one and I've actually had time this past week to sit down and play with it. This thing is great!! The one thing I don't like is the fact that the cord is attached.......... I've found a bag and it fits nicely but the cord is always bent. My question is, has anybody modded theirs by replacing the cable with the plug in type? Meaning you plug one end into the unit and the other into your laptop. I haven't taken it apart so I'm not sure how much of a job it'll be. So if ou have done this or any mods really please post some pics aswell as some details for the whole process.
Thanks for the time

Blu give me alittle credit, Lmao!! No they didn't that's why I asked here. I figure I could get one of those adaptors and strip back the casing then open up the Mixtrack cut that wire, strip it back, splice the wires together and mount it on the unit. Sound good??

i dont think it would be a matter of splicing the cables, i believe the original lead will be soldered direct to the mainbard. you should be able to strip the male end of the replacement cable and wire direct to the board.
im curious though, on how many wires there is in the replacement cable and how many connections are in the mixtrack.

Quick fix would be to drill a hole on the side and reroute the internal cable, so it wont be in the way, drop it in the bag first....
