Sujet help with vdj script

can anyone tell me exactly how to enter vdj script? i put in just a basic command and it says syntax error im trying to use a akai lpd8 and trying to get one button to play deck 1 and the other to get deck 2 to play i can get the auto learn action to play but not indivdual decks?
