Sujet: Issues recording using new macbook pro..

Ok, so I just purchased a brand new macbook pro specifically for doing gigs on vdj and for some reason cannot record my mixes.. I can't find any info or fixes for this.. When I press the record button it comes up "record error" cant find (name) file... I also have a mac pro desktop which is around 3 years old that has no problem recording. Would really appreciate some help.
Macbook pro 13" dual core
denon dn-mc6000
vdj pro 7

Make A file for your music then go to browse and it will record your music/songs in this folder.
