I would like to print out my Library using VDJ or a software.. Adding Titles to a spreadsheet would take forever..

The database is in XML, if you are handy with Excel it might be able to import it into something usefull

Mediamonkey is great but Excel will work too. In Excel 2010: File->Open, slect the database xmle file in your VDJ folder, when asked open as XML table. Bang your done. :)

Ok.. let me back up here.. First.. Most of the songs, videos dont have sub id tags.. Itunes seems to work but looks at the file name as I have it types.. Turn Back Time - Aqua - 90's (club),, Tried it quickly today and couldn't find a way for itunes to look for the tags to place the artist and song title in the right categories..

SO you have a ton of songs with no ID3 tags and oddly typed titles, and you want a piece of software that will add the ID3 tags even though the titles are sometimes garbage? Hmm. I have always had better luck with Windows media player than Itunes for that but still if the titles are really off it won't matter.
Just make sure you stay connected to the internet, point media player at the folder your music collection is in or use the scan for new media option. Make sure the settings are done so that it updates the file information.
If that doesn't work Media Monkey will do a pretty good job at this task as well but I think you will need the paid gold version.

99 present of the files have sub tags.. they come that way.. but i retag the file names my way leaving the sub tags.. vdj allows me to scan and not show the sub tags. basically the artist ends up in the song category.. would be greate if wdj had a way to print list or copy to excel would be even better

Ok so you have all the right tags they are just in the wrong category? And you want to be able to move them to the right category or just print a lsit with it int he proper column. That is easy. Just open the XML file in excel. It natively will open the file type that VDJ uses for their database.
In Excel: File->open->"...Documents/Virtual DJ/Virtual DJ database v6" -> It will ask you how you want to open it select "As an XML table"
Your VDJ database will open in Excel giving you the ability to make any changes you want and format it for printing if you want.
