hello im having a slight problem while recording my dj set for some reason its not recording my DJ drop any help thanks :)

When I record live sets and gigs, i use the auxilary line out from the mixer desk to Line input of audio interface, and Audacity (free program) to record the whole mix as heard through the speakers.
