Hi!
I bought Hercules console and got Virtual DJ with it. Before that I used Atomix MP3 with mouse.
So now there are a few things that bother me in Virtual DJ:
- can I see how much track was played since cue (not since start of the song) like it was in Atomix? If not this is a major setback (for me).
- is it possible to move ''blocks'' that indicate the beat? In rare cases these blocks aren't accurate and thus automatic mixing/syncing isn't possible.
- can I see the length and BPM of the song that is currently playing? I could click on ''time elapsed/remain'' window and see this information in Atomix.
Thank you!

1. Yes. This is skin dependant so requires you to have VDJ Pro.
2. Yes and you can do it with the mouse (as well as the keyboard or MIDI/HID controller with VDJ Pro).
3. Yes. That information is right in with all the other track information in plain sight isn't it?

1. So I can't see this in controller edition? Where do I have to click to see this information?
2. How can I move those blocks? If I click on one of them and try to move them the whole song moves.
3. No, it isn't. This information is only visible in database window, not in player.

1. Like I said it's skin dependant. Controller edition doesn't support skins, so unless the controller skin has it then no, you can't see it. VDJ Professional however does.
2. As per 1 some skins have it, under edit BPM for example. Or you can right click the track in the browser and open the edit BPM window from there. From that window you can adjust the CBG phase.
3. As per 1 it's skin dependant. I've no idea what skin you have with your controller. Length isn't usually shown on skins, you are right (although it can be added) and BPM is shown on pretty much every skin I've seen. I can't say for sure without seeing yours I'm afraid.
The controller version is a limited version to give you basic functionality. If you require more advanced functionality then you can upgrade to VDJ Pro, licensed console users even get a discount.
