Audio should run fine with a propper soundcard!
For video i wouldn't use it!

Ahah! So I would need to buy a seprate soundcard for the Mac(pro)? And would a Macbook air work at all? Trying to keep it cheep sorry haha, I'm new to DJing and on a budget you understand. If I can save money on the laptop part I can buy better speakers ect. thanks again!

You also can buy a all-in-one controller like the Hercules MK4, or something simular!

So you have with one purchase a controller, a soundcard and a VDJ LE version wich one allows you to start with DJING.

Oh! I have the IDJ3! I just need a computer to hold the music I am going to play live from, does that make sense? sorry if this is confusing, I am using a desktop atm, but my first gig is in december, I need a laptop to tug around because I don't want to lug around my desktop, you understand? thanks again!
