I am trying to get a video out form my macbook pro or i mac from the mini display port but need to go to rca or s video so i can go into a video mixer, i got a unit off of ebay but this has faild to work any ideas? many thanks

hi there thanks i was tring to avoid doing it that way i have had funny scaling things in the past, but in the end got a unit to do this way and seems to be ok cheers

I don't think that adapter works for newer macs.
You have to use Mini-display to VGA, and a pc to tv converter.

well for me it a lot of wires with is this and I don't like wires running in & out and up and down,but I do it.The clubs I work in don't have VGA cables run to your TV's. Cheeo?
