Hi, I have been using pcdj vj for the last few year and have recently upgraded to Virtual Dj pro (7.0 i think).
I still have the Dac-3 controller, its works great for me and is like new. Do you have a boggis mapper for Vj pro as im finding the current settings annoying. Ie you clip the jog wheel and the track playing scratches (Vinyl mode).
I think I was using the updated 1.4 mapper, which i cant get working with Virtual pro.
I'm unsure how to map my own keys on the Dac-3. I have attempted but failed!!
I also like the functions of being able to scroll through folders with the CP held - using jog wheel.
Another great feature of your mapper was the ability to hit the Sync button which intern would auto beatmatch and play the track at the same time.
Please can you help....
Thank you very much
Gary

Sorry, the old DLL mappers are long since obsolete and are not compatible with VirtualDJ v7. Since v6.0, VirtualDJ has a new and powerful VDJscript mapping language that allows you to easily change the built-in mappings to suit your OWN preferences as well as map new controllers that are not natively supported.
We would recommend changing the default mapping to suit your own preferences.
For further information about VDJscript mapping, please see:

In the default native DAC-3 mapping, you can avoid the accidental scratch problem by putting VirtualDJ in CD mode. Go to CONFIG -> Options and click on JogMode to change it from Vinyl to CD.
You could make the CP button browse by changing its mapping to the following:
wheel_mode "browser" while_presssed
And for the SYNC button:
play_sync
Or:
play_sync_onbeat
We would recommend changing the default mapping to suit your own preferences.
