Sujet Trouble With American AudioRadius 3000

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

So my co-worker got me back into djing and into the digital stuff so I went out and bought 2 American Audio Radius 300's. So when I got the stuff and said I liked it he told me that I shouldn't just run the 2 digital turntables but use VDJ, so he showed me his set up. I liked it with his set up so I borrowed his computer to see how I liked it with my set up. Well I can get deck 2 to work with one 3000 perfectly, deck 1 on the other hand is not treating me so nicely.

First of all, I'm using a maya44 interface, I know its cheap, but its what he had so I figured if it worked fine for him it should work for me. Thing is, when I play deck 2 and have my actual mixer slider over to B its just the music, but if I move it over toward A you can hear the signal CD tone... I'm using the pro signal because its quieter than the consumer grade with my set up, but its still very noticeable.

My second issue is with deck 1 again. When I hit play on the 3000 it plays but if I hit it again, it will either play it super fast like a chipmunk, super slow, or backwards, whatever it really feels like doing (except for stopping, that's not an option for it apparently lol). I have both 3000's hooked up the same (usb into the computer, rca jacks to the maya44 and then to the mixer).

I really liked the program when he showed me what he was doing with his equipment. He helped me set up my stuff and he's out of ideas as well and that's why I'm here. I'm not really sure what the issue is and I don't want to buy the software for myself if I'm gonna be stuck with the same issues and a basically useless program at that point...

Well the Radius 3000 units are MIDI controllers as well and you should really consider using them in MIDI mode and not in a Timecode setup.

But, if you insist on using Timecode - then I would sit down side-by-side with your buddy and go through all the configuration options and compare notes.

I am sure you will find that your Maya Control panel settings are not the same - specifically the MUTE Monitor options and the Gain levels on the channels.

And in VirtualDJ's Sound card setup tab - I would compare all the settings there - specifically under Timecode config and your Output options.

Also, some more information about - which Maya Drivers, what Operating System, etc would be helpful to understand you full setup.

How do I run them as midi controllers? With the usb cables hooked up to them and the computer the map comes right up. Do I need to have them connected? If I run them as midi do I still need the maya44? I don't have the computer in front of me but when I do I'll give more technical info.

So I'm running on a windows 7 64bit computer. Have the latest maya drivers. I checked all the setting several times and they are all correct.

I tried running the 3000's in midi but I can't seem to get them to control only 1 deck at a time and I can't get the sound out of anything but the pc sound card, nothing from the maya...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
