I have my external HD set up where each genre is a separate folder and hence shows in VDJ the same way. I like how I can search for any song on my HD at anytime but sometimes I'd like to narrow down the results by clicking on a specific folder THEN typing something in the search field. I know this is possible with Serato, but is anything like this an option in VDJ and maybe I'm just missing how to do this?

When you are in a specific folder and use search to locate a song, then VirtualDJ will display first the matched songs in that folder, following by the others and those will be separated by a horizontal line.
