really would like for say music,,,,all titles ect yellow

not saying those exact colours but instead of just the icon having a different colour the whole line
i run all three together and would love this feature.
i have got filter folders ie karaoke only ect but sometimes go back to search and all comes up.
although i will say my vdj has been rock solid for years now.
just hope they do not change script ect like after 5.? when had to learn all over again lol
also try lock software completely to members.so sick of people ringing me with cracked versions asking for help on setting it up for them

Music Groups is great and all but i would really like to see the ability to sign into multiple twitter accounts (one for the DJ's Account and one for the Venue's Account) and tweet every song i play along with a caption like "Now Playing - ####### - at The Club XXX Street, San Fran, CA
Also a facebook share ability would be nice that share's the song playing along with the album cover as part of the status update. This should have the ability to be a one shot deal like the share button on this website. Not every song like a twitter feed would be. When I get new songs or video's that are in and I want to promote the song by sharing to hundreds of friends on facebook this type of function would work great and also encourage more customers to friend on facebook.
Sure these things can be done now on the same computer running vdj in the background but having it done automatically or with a share button would be fantastic.
I know that many DJ's may say that this kind of thing is outside the scope of DJ Software but we are moving into a newer more modern era of DJ Software and VDJ is at the forefront of this technology as the leading DJ software in the industry. VDJ has done so well over the past several years because they listen to what the DJ's are saying and what their real needs are. I have customers that hear me play a new video and they are on their smartphones using apps like Shazam to figure out what song it is or they are texting my screens using firetext plugin to request video's or just to make comments that are sent to the screen and then tweeted out to my twitter account as well. Let's step it up a notch and give our customers more of what they want which is to interact with the DJ. I have had great success adding these features to my show and am ready to bring them even more.
Let's get this done in VDJ 8 so that other DJ Software companies don't beat us to the punch.

P.S. How about a way to change the font size for our libraries in the browser tab. It's hard enough to see in a dark DJ Booth. Tiny titles are hard to read.

How about next to the search bar in the browser window we have customized search buttons so that I don't have to type in Top 40, Rock, Dance, Best of 198... etc. 100 times in the day. Just click on a button and it does the search of the customized keyword.
I know their is a genre folder but it only returns the genre column id tags. I have close to a million files and their is no way i am even going to attempt to go back and try to ad id tags for their genre's. However most of my files are in subfolders by genre. Yes I know about the filter folders. I use them quite often however the search bar has search options that you can check off. Not sure if you can add those same search options to the filter folder.

I wish their would be a better guide to mapping! Like in serato itch you hit the question mar and hover it around and it gives you a full discription of the the key and how to's and short cuts and other vital information.

The 1 thing I really, really want to see is, LED's for recording when using a MIDI controller and it must be skinable.

+1 on more sample decks. If we could have at least 4 banks with 12 samples per bank I think that would be great and I will die happy.

You can have a led for record, it's just "record ? on : off". I assume you can skin it there is heaps of get_record's aswell for time and things, just no VU meters if that's what you meant.. it's stupid if you ask me, as it's the most important thing when recording, so you know your not clipping

Yeah should of been more specific, lol, VU meter when recording. A must that its skinable though. Even with the other software its hiding in a panel some where. Never understood that, why hide a much feature........oh well I have faith we'll get with VDJ8.
