I think i only saw one post about this, So it got me thinking and i gave it a shot. I know there's many DJs that have both VDJ and Serato, so which one do you keep, use or sale... That's one of the things that was bugging me. I own the MC6000-3700 and both software and wanted to use both controllers with either or.
Things you need Serato- VDJ- MC600- 3700- now I 'm using RCA from MC to behringer mixer for more EQ configure. you can go straight XL to your speakers, that's up to you. so Let's dive in.
First you would setup the 3700 normal with your SL Box then from the SL BX line one go's into the Aux 1 on the MC 6000
Then Line 2 SL BX to Aux 2 Mc. Boot up Serato do a test to make sure you got sound.
Now VDJ setup, Make sure you have the MC connected to usb then in the config setting keep everything basic
Input none, output External mixer, Sound card mono Sep. Now you need an 1/8 to RCA cable which 1/8 come out of you headphone jack on laptop and rca to either line1 or line2 of the MC6000. Make sure you switch it to PC mix on the back so that you can move the faders up and down.
So now your able to DJ with Serato for audio- and you DJ with VDJ for karaoke or video and audio. now here's the con you can't mix both channels in VDJ cause the audio is coming thru one channel but you can cue your songs. As for Serato everything works fine . you just have to switch back and fourth.
Good-luck and Enjoy!!

I think you are making it more complicated, why not use Virtual DJ alone to setup your DNS-3700 & MC-6000 together by connecting your DNS-3700 to 2-Extra Channel of MC-6000 thru timecodes and use 4-decks skins on VDJ to control all your 4-mix, You can have 1&2-Decks for your VDJ mix on Karaoke and 3&4-Decks for your DNC-3700 audio.
In order for you to work on multi channel output you have to configure your sound card in the advance config and re-rout the channel you want to designate an output and also you are saying it is not possible to mixed as your audio line input is in the same line this is not true in order to have multi-input in VDJ you have to configure your sound card (check your sound card if it has multi channel) line to: e.g. linein1=1&2 channels linein2=3&4 channels or you can do that also by making your configuration as mono if you want more connection but in this mode you have a layer of 2-audio source in one line input so for 2-audio (e.g. iphone connected to left & cd player connected to right) input you have only one attenuator or EQ control as it is coming on the same line. Your MC-6000 will work as a MIXER and CONTROLLER and main outs direct to your power amplifier or to powered speaker you don't need to rout your mains out to your Beringer mixer. And you have less equipment setup and you can sell your - SERATO SL BOX & BERINGER MIXER if you wish too.

Thanks for the input, and I agree with both of you guys.. I was just posting this cause i know there's many djs that like Serato cause the accuracy of the scratching. and With VDJ the Scratching isn't the best. I tried it with the MC to Serato with the correct mapping.
But i still like the feel of the 3700 for scratching and the Mc for mixing and transitions. I have another post on here about using the VDJ and
MC6000 and the 3700 all with VDJ and when i tried to do it my setting got all messed up not on the Mc6000 my Channel 2/3 are playing opposite sides and i can't get it back to normal..

just map something to "invert_controllers" and it will switch sides, or you can go into the mapper and choose the further options box to the right of the tab that has your controllers name in it, in options dropdown you can assign your controller or controllers to specific decks as in mc-6000 as deck 1 and 2, 3700 as deck 3 and 4, or any combination you choose..
for the scratch sensitivity you can change that by downloading the registry tool and changing the "default scratch latency" to at or below 1020 depending on your computers performance and the feel your after..
