that is weird, you can tell from it controlling the volume that it functions as it should in terms of the device, also are you using an endless encoder? or an absolute knob? because if it is endless the "param_greater 0%" should work both ways not just left, however this has changed since I figured out how to do it, and I think now you just say what you want eg. adjust_cbg, volume... have you got the most up to date version of 7.05b that is what I was using with the idj.
maybe also check midi trace and find where the control is in the definition file and if it is focused on a particular deck. You could also try it with a key on your keyboard to tell if vdj is corrupted perhaps..

that is what i have observe on endless encoder buttons, the mapper that i'm doing also doesn't work on "param_greater 0%" it is moving only in one direction to left on my cbg editing and "param_greater 50%" will move the cbg to the right only. What i did tried it in many ways that i could think off and there i use "param_greater 0" it works on cbg editing on both direction left & right i'm worried that maybe uploading my mapper will have so much of bugs just because of these. I'm using the latest up to date version of 7.05b Virtual DJ.

Like Cesar said, if I use "deck right param_greater 0 ? adjust_cbg +0.2% : adjust_cbg -0.2%" it moves on both directions.
The weird part is, that no matter if I use "device_side", "deck left", "deck 1" it still applies on both.

Can you show us the full scripts of your mapping (copy/paste) just the line you did not the whole thing. i mean the full line syntax. Maybe there are some mistake in defining your mapping value.

The weirdest thing just happened. I completely uninstalled VDJ and reinstalled.
Now it works exactly like intended:
FX select = left side browse folders / right side adjust cbg on left deck
device_side 'left' ? browser_window "folders" ? browser_scroll : browser_window "folders" : param_greater 0 ? deck left adjust_cbg +0.2% : deck left adjust_cbg -0.2%
Sample Select = left side browse songs/ right side adjust cbg on right deck
device_side 'left' ? browser_window "songs" ? browser_scroll : browser_window "songs" : param_greater 0 ? adjust_cbg +0.2% : adjust_cbg -0.2%
@cesarcastillo and synthet1c: thank you for your time and patience! This community is what makes this software superior to any other!
I now think i am done with the button side of things.
Next thing in line is the LED mapping. This may be pretty basic, but I have 0 experience with. I want to map the LEDs for each button in a pretty basic way: Action active LED on/ Action inactive LED off. Can anyone point me to the right direction?
