I purchased a Hercules Rmx 3-4 months ago, and it worked perfectly even up until 2 hours ago. after i came back for lunch, I plugged in the usb cord to the hercules and nothing happened, No lights flashed, no recognition of the hercules controller on my laptop. Nothing. I have tried everything from this : http://ts.hercules.com/faqs/eng/her_eng_00384.pdf to other strategies. Im confused as to what i can do. I have a gig coming up next week. please someone help me asap. I really need help. I have a fugitsu laptop and a dell laptop and neither one it works on now.

First thing to look at would be to exchange your usb lead with one you know that works.

If you've tried this procedure and can't get it to work, and on many computer, then its most probably dead unfortunately.
