Charlie you are a man of many talents!! Question for ya, do you have a guide for adding a sliding shelf to a flight case?? Not trying to hijack but I know your a handy man, lol!!

I had the exact same thing and WOW was it heavy.

I do not have a guide, I'm not making it myself, just designing it however I am only allowing 1u to be waisted on the slant of the mixer (4.5mm).
Shelf will tapper away towards the rear to 5mm between aluminium to make the case as tight as possible.
Weight:
There will be an amp, but only an XTI4000 at 9.5kg.
Case will be 6mm ply laminate and not 9.
The body from the outside extrusions is only 420mm (without lids) however lids are as shallow as you can get.
Remember, the image pictured is just an example to give you an idea.
PS,
If this case does prove to be to heavy then I'll revert back to the 3 cases I'm using at the moment.

Umm, seems that most flightcase companies in the UK have gone bust.
Only major players left and they now have the monopoly and don't want to make anything difficult (bespoke), it's an off the shelf product or nothing unless you want to pay £250 for what should be £150.
I am now dealing with a German company.
