No one seems to talk about it here which makes me think this isn't the best way. Does anyone simply run an HDMI cable to their LCD instead of running a VGA cable?
Isn't an HDMI connection a better connection? Or... would using HDMI cause system problems, or cause more resources to be used?
Thoughts?

I'm using HDMI to connect my laptop to my TOSHIBA LCD TV which is more better than VGA. I did an experiment by changing connection every now and then i have found out that HDMI has better quality in color and image sharpness.

I took this from the internet:
"1.VGA is an analog video standard while HDMI is in digital
2.VGA is very old while HDMI is still pretty new
3.VGA can only carry a video signal while HDMI can carry a lot of signals other signals along with video
4.VGA is usually used in computers while HDMI is used in HD tv sets and media players"
Read more here: http://www.differencebetween.net/technology/difference-between-vga-and-hdmi/
So i think the answer is YES, HDMI is better than VGA...
Especially in this age.
