Hey guys,
I'ts with a heavy heart that I've packed up all my stuff, and will be leaving my country (Singapore) and moving to Australia for 3 years to continue with my studies. I've been deejaying here for about 6 years now, playing gigs ranging from small parties, corporate events, marathons, triathlons, was even fortunate enough to have deejayed at the Youth Olympic Games held in Singapore in 2010, also played at various bars and clubs. I've been real lucky to know many awesome djs here, who have been very kind to me and helped me tremendously throughout all these years.
Theres a saying that goes "Find a job that you love, and you'll never work a day in your life!". I think that pretty much sums up my sentiments. There were times, where I finished a gig at a club at 4am, and immediately rushed down for another gig that started at 5am. Two cans of redbull and I was good for the next 8hours. I'm pretty sure I'll never find another job that compares.
Anyway, I dont plan on giving up deejaying. Not yet anyway. I'm bringing my trusty DNMC6000 and my laptop with me. I'll be heading to Tasmania, which is pretty much an island, and from what I hear theres not much going on there in terms of the night life, but hopefully I'll get to play somewhere. If all else fails, I'll just line up my action figures in my room and play out to them. :D
I'd like to thank VDJ team, for being so dedicated to a wonderful product that has literally changed the game with each new release. Also the wonderful people on the forums for your help, especially when I just started out on VDJ a couple years back.
Finally, if there are any djs here from Australia, would love to hear from you guys. Thanks and all the best folks!

Welcome to OZ.. good to see another MC6000 user heading to the land down under. Like my mate Synthet1c suggested, be careful of drop bears. Synthet1c is a well respected authority on things such as that.
Coops
P.S. I am on the opposite side of the country.. north Queensland so a bit hard to turn up and take my spot with the action figures!

You shouldn't have to worry about the drop bears djsonance, they usually only prey on the hot Swedish tourists. However it always pays to be vigilant!
I wish you all the best man :D hopefully you will love our "little" country
