I've got Virtual DJ configured to output separately to two sound cards (the on-board output of a MacBook Pro, and an external Creative X-Fi adapter). I created an aggregate audio device in Mac OS, selected it for output in Virtual DJ, etc.
It's working great, except for one problem. What I want is simple:
Primary output (X-Fi) outputs main mix from both decks
Headphones output (on-board audio) outputs the preview from the browser
Unfortunately, here's what I get:
Primary output (X-Fi) outputs main mix from both decks
Headphones output (on-board audio) outputs the preview from the browser AND the main mix from both decks
I've played around with the PFL buttons, setting the Auto Headphones option in Virtual DJ to Disabled, etc., etc. These options adjust which of the two decks outputs to the headphones, but I can't seem to find any configuration to output NONE of the main mix to the headphones.
My preferred configuration has to be very easy to achieve, but for some reason I'm missing it. Ideas? Thanks...
