Hi,

i know it's kind off a silly question but i'm a starting Dj and my first gig is coming up but I still don't have a good name for myself....
i was hoping someone could help me out with this.
my name is Jeroen but they also call me Joene...

Most DJ nicknames come their style, in either mixing or life. Just be yourself for a few gigs. Someone will pay you a compliment and that will be your DJ name.
 
TearEmUP is absolutely right about that. That's pretty much how I earned my name back in the later 90's when i started out. Did a few gigs, that's how i got my name. There's no ruling on it, but just like the man said depending on your style, you can make a name for yourself, or just do a few gigs, and it will present itself to you.....
