Finally, a software has been released to give Virtual DJ multi-touch functionality. A very nice feature for everyone using touch screens!

The Emulator software being advertised is an additional layering interface that allows you to make a 'skin' that acts like a controller using MIDI commands. This is how the Emulator table (Emulator DVS) and new Kontrol Surface KS-1974 interfaces with software products.
I have the software and it is a bit tedious to build the skin layer. But it does work, and takes a good amount of time to create a really good interface. I am not going to say that someone should not get it ... but just give you a warning that there is a good amount of effort to make even a simple interface.
For example; as I mentioned, you would be creating a skin layer that sits on top of the VirtualDJ skin. To get to items like the browser for accessing songs you would basically cut a window into one of the skin layers.
Anyone thinking of purchasing the software, I recommend you visit their support forums (think there are some tutorial videos there) and read up on how it works. And of course, definitely download their Trial verison to test it.

This is why the price drop: This is a copy and paste directly from the website. OUR SOFTWARE WILL WORK ON ANY AND EVERY TOUCH SCREEN (except iPad & Android) so there are very few limitations.
