Its really a common behavior on TV shows, DJ Jesus Luz - the ex-Madonna's f... toy as said Tocadisco - did the same months ago.
Its a fact that some DJs enjoy the polemics generated in episodes like this ... this example was a trending topic on twitter.
As we use to say in Brazil "Falem mal, mas falem de mim" ("Good or bad, but talk about me", or something like this).
