Sujet: Chuck's big adventure ......

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

I am at a new club for the first time in a while

I was fired 10 weeks ago and have enjoyed the layoff

i did a lot of fun stuff with the video capabilities and job hunted ....

when i wasn't groveling for a job , i would go shopping for Bentley's or a private island .....

i now have a private island , but it's kinda marshy at high tide .......

it's been an interesting experience

i would remind you , that when you hear some of these stories about clubs and sometimes wildly

arbitrary and misguided management , at least some of it's true .....

i know i have read here items from AMaHM and wildcountryclub and Marcel and i didn't doubt it ....

any how bad karma returns to the source and good karma just emanates outwards.......i believe that

i would advise stay positive , keep learning , and stay in touch with everybody

also don't fill out applications..... go to places where you are known or where you

have contacts .... nowadays they call that networking, which sounds way more sterile than i like

i also don't like "win friends and influence people" .... sounds like too much confrontation

just be useful and friendly , don't worry about threatening, er, influencing people

having said all that nice stuff , you wimps , remember , don't let 'em push you around......

just tell 'em to jump in a lake and smile when you say it

CHuckers!

Man, sucks you got the heave-ho!! But even better to hear you made Lemonade out of lemons.
I gotta tell you though I do look back (in my mind's eye) and remember the great times I had DJ'ing in a club. Then I think it would be great to do that again.

Then I remember I have a real job, and I started a Mobile wedding/corporate event dj service.

Good advise on staying positive and putting the past in the past and moving "onward and upward" instead of crapping out.

What happened Chuckalingus, did you rub one of the strippers the wrong way?

thanks Marcel, hi Renee'......

i always rub 'em just the way they like it.....

anywhoo , don't cry for me Argentina

it was good to not hear drake, trey songz, lil wayne, nikki minaj, and esp. plies for 10 weeks

speaking of plies , he holds the world record for use of the word pu-thee, whatever that is

i think he needs speech therapy

but i'm back at a better club , and udder irons in the fire, so it's good and gettin' better.....

my first night back the premium membership really saved my keister... musta downloaded 20 tunes

you hapless schmucks that don't have the premium membership are letting 10 measly bucks a month

separate you from more success ???? really ?

btw, a hapless schmuck is a schmuck with little or no hap .....didn't wanna leave you hangin' ......

Really? I can't imagine NOT having 20 songs "On-board" worthy of playing that I didn't know about.... you have a lot of catching up to do Chunkster.

Love, Renee :-O

Wait a tick. Chuck, when did you move to Argentina? I tried moving, moving like Jagger but, I was only able to move like Richards...so, I tied off my forearm......Hi Renee' Always nice to see you 'round the old forums.....

Renee , i hope you are not implying that premium membership is only for the

inexperienced ? Maybe you are lucky and your needs are more predictable or apply to fewer situations .....

Tear, i moved for a few highly logical reasons ....

1) some of Rick's Brazilians were stalking me

second) Argentina has MANY Argentinian restaurants

c) it 's part of my global expansion......

moving like Richards ain't so bad .....after the nuclear holocaust , the only things left are

expected to be Richards and the roaches

Hi Teary.... this is just a quick drive-by posting, you know I don't post much in the "General" forum because the flip-pin VDJ admin peoplez watch me like a hawk hoping I'll mis-behave AGAIN. (I can't help myself)

Numbchucks:

On the rare occasion I have anyone make a request for something I don't have followed by "But can't you download it" I tell them I don't have an INTERNET connection on my Commodore 64 and if I did I'd be browsing porn rather than talking to them. Then I give them a free drink coupon and kick them off my stage.

good luck to ya with that approach

Hey Chuck i just started a new residence at a strip club here in Harrisburg PA

Your quote that " it was good to not hear drake, trey songz, lil wayne, nikki minaj, and esp. plies for 10 weeks

speaking of plies , he holds the world record for use of the word pu-thee, whatever that is

i think he needs speech therapy"

is dead on but at least I dont have to worry about it Daytime ...... Owner runs a tight ship NO Drake , piles, trey songz, meek mills,or othe HARDER rap , nicki minaj is ok but gotta watch the f bombs and n bombs ya know

Glad to see things are looking up for ya

Save me a seat at the argentine cantana brother

Audi Like 5000

Dj Walt

thanks Walt , somebody knew what i was goin' on about .....

most clubs around here leave the DJ hangin as far as the music goes ....

they talk a good talk until there's a problem ......

the GM of this place is a buddy and he has an ownership stake . this club is the woe begotten

relative amongst a chain of 4 .... it was actually shut down by corporate due to poor profitability,

but only because of anemic competitive practices and embezzlement by managers , one of whom is

in jail ......my buddy ( let's call him Froderic) has no connection to the previous regime and actually

turned down the first offer from the owner of the chain .... now he , there second choice for GM , and 3 of us

from my ex club are all there ..... so the new guys are very energetic and we look forward to having a

environment built on respect and taking some modern approaches and doing some new things

having said all that..... the township was brutal about letting it re-open ( even though it was NOT forced to

close by any authorities ) and so we are currently working hard ( not struggling ), but working hard, to get more

dancers and customers and we are currently being more patient with certain issues than we intend to be after

we are more re-established the music is WAY too much stripper slow rnb crap .... it will become more mainstream

and acceptable to a normal audience as we go ......

there was an incident last night that i think is illustrative of the new mindset ......

apparently a customer was rude to one of our dancers and she reported it to the head of security ("Tiny")

Tiny has no precedent , the club is only back for 8 days now ..... so he gets "Froderic".... Froderic and Tiny talk

the guy out the door ...... to answer "so what " ... well, the bad guy left , which is good , the dancer feels supported

by the club , which is good, and the customer left and not in a headlock , which is good ......

in the recent past that scenario would have played out way messier .....

we want a good operation and we don't want to be heavy handed in our treatment of

dancers and customers. everything is free to dancers and staff except the RedBull and we are allowed to drink

as long as we keep a grip on it .... so every one is treated like an adult

so far it's off to a very strong start ....

we're reserving your seat at the cantina .....
