I have just purchased a denon 6000. ive double and triple checked the settings and we have come to the conclusion with denon rep that somethings conflicting with asio drivers as i get no hp and no line out. Problem is I dont know how to troubleshoot that and he basically left me with no guidance. Im good with the computer just dont really know where and what to look for. Any help would be appreciated?

You're good with the computer, and yet you've not mentioned anything about your computer, the operating system, the peripherals you've got connected to it....
For example, web cams can interfere with things sometimes.

Have you installed the latest firmware on the Denon? Have you un-then-re-installed the asio drivers?
