Has anyone bought one of these and hooked it up to vdj yet, really like the look of it but want to know if the functionality of the controller could be made similar to that on serato itch with correct mapping??

It's hard to say whether this would get native support or not, it will be itch's premier controller so it may be exclusive to itch like the novation twitch is, but I think it the a decision lies with vestax not serato so we might see native support, but even if we don't get it you can always map it yourself as atomix give you the same tools they use to support controllers.
The other thing you need to consider is that the slicer of itch is not able to be done in vdj as well even though there are workarounds to get good sounding effects even in some cases better than itch but again they wont be the same.
After saying all that you can take full advantage of the different types of controllers using vdjscript, but it will rely on your creativity as to what you make those controls do.

Funny: No supported software included in the box....
I understand why you want to buy this controller, but it would be a wise thing to wait al little and see if the controller is natively supported or someone would write a mapping for it.
