Hey all,
I've been experiencing an issue with the sound levels on some of the video tracks I've been using.. some have a lower volume and it seems that I'm constantly trying to account for the dB level of new songs and I end up having to crank up the gain knob for it to match the same level. It causes some song transitions to sound poor with the sudden burst in volume.
Also, when using my volume faders on each deck, it seems to not be smooth and cuts out too fast when I'm trying to fade it out quietly. Does this have to do with the crossfader option or is there a separate thing I should be looking at?
using Numark NS6 with VirtualDJ Pro .. unfortunately the gain monitor on the NS6 is non-existant and the one in VDJ doesn't seem to help me figure out if the sound levels should match up.
Any recommendations or tips? Greatly appreciated.

You could try going to the Config menu and select Options. Then set Auto Gain to AUTO + REMEMBER.
Load the tracks that you are going to use and check to see that VDJ is setting the gain to a level you are happy with.
This will automaticaly match the levels on your tracks. VDJ will do this for you whenever you load a new track and will store the level for the next time you use it. You must let the track load fully on the first play before you start the deck or you will hear the adjustment take place.
Hope that helps
