All you VDJ'ers out there, please give your professional opinion on my Screen background for SMS to Screen software.
1) What do you like about it?
2) What do you dislike about it?
3) What would you change about it?
This is my default layout for parties and things. Will be doing Business specific background for club venues.
Thanks

I think its cool, but I'd rather vote for bartender, favorite drinks, something useful to my establishment. Background is a little plain, I'd like to see something more urban, like asphalt & graffiti or perhaps a hi-res pic of you DJ'ing and some hot chicks dancing with lights going.
Really anything that engages your crowd and links the establishment would be the way to go. What kind of display are you putting this on? ( tv's or projector )

Yes the voting was just a demo to show the background. I would never have a vote for myself. lol. The displays will vary from place to place. If its a private party it will be on a projector screen. This background would not be used for an establishment or club. I will make one specifically for each club that pertains to their establishment (Club, bar, etc). It would have their colors and logo on it and my logo would just be smaller somewhere on it.
Thanks for the feedback. I will work more on it today, this was a quick image I did yesterday and thought the same thing it was a bit empty.

i like your background but it is a little plain
i wouldn't advise urban anything .....make it mainstream
i would never glorify graffiti for instance , it's just ugly infantile scribblings and vandalism
maybe a logo of your baseball team , a sunset at the beach .....
we get enough urban ugliness all ready i think
urban could be a murder, rape, drug dealing, prostitution, traffic jam, boarded up building
a chalk person on the sidewalk , etc. .......urban is too ordinary also.....you just click on the news
if you want to see endlessly negative stuff like that

Hey Chuck, you run out of your meds again? Urban was a suggestion, since creativity involves throwing everything out there.
Sunsets & baseball teams, yeah... sure.

i don't need meds , i can slam a revolving door.....
i'm at work looking at the Miller Genuine Draft at the beach
the Phillies logo ...etc just normal bar stuff......
to simplify my suggestion ..... go mainstream, why does it have to be so
gritty and ugly all the time ?

I did check it out but there wasn't much on there that I could find. Perhaps its a growing community but the content level was small, unless I'm just not looking in the right place.
And Thanks for the comments

It's virtually brand new, I haven't had much time with one thing and another to populate the different forums. The forums are open for anyone to contribute to them so your more than welcome to add any work if you like.
You just got to remember any work needs to be in a generic format unless your willing to make a custom job for anyone that asks.
@chuck, thanks. By the way, did you get that buffet visual I dropped off in the custom forum for you?

Thanks Paul, I will drop by and see about contributing some generic stuff. I tend to sell most of my custom design work to make a little return on my time, but I can provide some stuff to help populate the forums.
