I am having problems with regards to headphones.
I need to take Virtual DJ Pro out with me to a bar for the first time in a few days and just noticed a major issue.
My PC 'Dell' laptop has x2 headphone sockets. I am running a phono lead from one straight into one of the channels on my mixer. This is fine and playing perfectly.
The problem I am having is, the CUE on Virtual DJ Pro isnt cutting one track from another when I have my headphones plugged into the other laptop headphone socket.
Does anyone know a way to fix this? Cheers

Your PC may well have two headphone sockets, but they're probably both connected to the same place - you don't have two separate sound cards.
In order to have a main output and a cue output (two separate signals) you need..........two sound cards.
You have one, built in. The easiest way to add another for cueing is to buy yourself a pair of USB headphones.

Most laptops have two sockets however one is for sound output and the other is for microphone input. If you're using this software in a professional environment then you should really use either an external sound card or a midi controller with one built in.

Most laptops with dual outputs send out the same audio signal and are not suitable for headphone monitoring. Details on headphone monitoring can be found here: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Pre-listening%20with%20headphones.html
