Welcome!
The specs for Virtual are listed on the drop down menu, you will find Minimum and Recommended. Asus is a good brand, I use one along with two friends of mine.
The Beats by Dre are nice, but honestly your money would've been better spent on Virtual DJ Pro and a pair of American Audio headphones.
Or perhaps, a controller with a built-in sound card like the Numark Mixtrack Pro. Add a external hard drive, start building your music library and familiarize yourself with Virtual DJ and next we'll be talking about powered speakers!
Good Luck!

headphones - sony - mdr v700s - take care of them right and they will last for years, and they have better frequency response and range than beats. plus for the same price you can buy 2-3 pairs of the sony's if you shop around.
asus makes good laptops for alot less than MBP - and like he said - soundcard (video card too if mixing video!) upgrades are worth doing.
as far as software VDJ is the way to go - trust us on this one -we're professionals!
