Sujet: Probably stupid questions regarding Numark CUE and Mixtrack Pro...

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

So, I just recently bought a Mixtrack Pro with VirtualDJ LE. A few years ago, I had picked up a Numark Total Control with CUE LE, which I then upgraded to the full version. I had registered it with the Numark website, I believe. I had CUE installed on an old Windows laptop, but unfortunately I have since uninstalled it, and have lost track of the included CDs. I would like to use the Mixtrack Pro with CUE and a soon-to-be-arriving Macbook Air. Questions:

Will I be able to download the full latest version of CUE (7, I believe) from Numark's website without buying it anew, and use it on my new Macbook Air?
Will CUE run natively on the Mixtrack PRO the exact same as VirtualDJ, with no fuss no muss?

Or, would upgrading the VirtualDJ LE that came with the Mixtrack Pro be my best/only option?

Thanks for putting up with my noobishness! I'm planning this time around to really get going with this DJ thing; I've got a Bose L1 Model 1 Double Bass system on the way, for set-up simplicity and good quality sound (at least, the reviews I read of this are damn good).

I would upgrade LE to Pro since version 8 is on its way. Good luck with the Bose, I hear they are nice!

It says under your name that you are already a Pro registered user - I doubt you would need to pay again as a Pro license includes free upgrades.

If you already have a pro version of CUE, you should be able to download any updates as long as you have the key for it. Whether its for a Pc or a MAC. I think that the Mixtrack Pro is natively supported by CUE but I'm not positive.

your better off upgrading Numark CUE to VDJ Pro, it costs $50 but it means you will get updates on time as numark don't have to pre-approve the release.

Right on, I'll pay the $50 and just upgrade my Cue to VDJ Pro. Thanks guys!

don't sue me if inflation or devaluation of the US Dollar jacked up the price a little, I'm not in charge of the economy LOL. Cost me $50US a couple of years ago, a little more in Aussie Dollars at the time.
