Sujet: Bluetooth Hard(key)Drive

Looking for some thoughts ideas on this product.

Currently for my mobile gigs I use my ipad 3 for outside ceremonies and cocktail hours in separate rooms where I would need two systems, it works great. I use DJay from Algorithm which I love. Obviously the IPad is extremely limited with space (64gb). My future plan is to purchase the iDJ PRO from Numark and use it as a backup system altogether.

Lets hear the good and the bad...

well is it a wireless harddrive? imo anything wireless I wont touch when it comes to DJ'ing for simple reasons, what if the connection breaks. I would recomend something with USB/Firewire w/e
 
its a bluetooth connection
 
same goes with bluetooth, you want what can transfer info the fastest. Might work but think something with wire is better to be
on the safe side.

EDIT: As far as I know, you play a track from the harddrive, and connection breaks, track disapears
 
You gotta be kidding me. I bought one of these last week for $89.00 with free shipping. You want to spend all that money for 16g, just because it's blue tooth? I'm sorry, as Spock would say, it is not logical.
 
I do. I need to expand the availability of my collection to the iPad. Is 64 enough to cover the basics, probably, but i like to be outside the box.
