Sujet: Line In problem with Hercules rmx console

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Hey

I'm currently running virtual dj pro and controlling it with the rmx dj console by hercules. It works great as a controller and sound card. However, I am having difficulty getting the line in function to work. I am trying to have my numark CDJ run through the source 2 channel of the rmx (inputs 3&4) so that I can control the levels and eq with the console. Has anyone else experienced the same issue?

Thanks

I dont really get the problem, what kind of problem is it? So, u are using the RMX, yeah and a CDJ from numark (CDX NDX w/e they are called right? Plugin RCA from the CDJ, into the the input of the RMX, choose LineIn. Throw in a TimeCoded CD, configure the audiosettings after ur settup and you should be ready to go.

EDIT: Btw to use timecodes you do need VirtualDJ Pro

Please register your Pro serial number on the page http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and then download the latest version from the Download Center: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html

If you have not purchased VirtualDJ Pro then please support the software and its future development by purchasing it: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html - Your RMX entitles you to a considerable discount.

The mapping for the SOURCE button of the RMX may not be mapped correctly if you have customised the mappings in an earlier version of the software.

In CONFIG -> Mappers -> Hercules RMX, make sure that the SOURCE button is mapped to the following:

get hastimecode ? timecode_bypass : get haslinein ? linein : nothing

Thank you support staff. You were right. The source button was mapped such that it engaged the timecode bypass rather than the line in function. Now it works perfectly. Your help is very much appreciated.
