Sujet: jogwheel resolution / speed

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

For some reason, it seems almost randomly, one or both jogwheels will barely affect the playback or cue position.
I'd like to know why it happens, and how to fix it.
I'm using the Numark DJ2GO USB/midi controller with VDJ7
The scratch speed doesn't seem to affect this at all.

Look at the settings under config/options. There will be 3 sliders. Tinker with those sliders to see if it will solve the issue. It is what I had to do for how I wanted the jog wheels to function with my dj2go.

You can also look in the hardware forum for my post about this.

I found that when I changed the jog mode from CD to VINYL it fixed the issue on the A jogwheel - at the time the B wheel was already working correctly.
Now I need to figure out how that single mode selector can affect just one, the other or both wheels...but for the moment it's OK.
Thanks for the advice though, and I actually was looking at those controls, but they weren't doing much because the jog wheel's sensitivity was so low to begin with (if you wheeled it backwards as fast as you could, it only slowed the playback)

In VirtualDJ Lite, the jogwheel sensitivity can't be adjusted because it's free limited software.

If you find that one jogwheel scratches while the other pitch bends, then one deck may be set to vinyl (Scratch) mode while the other is not. You can toggle vinyl mode on each deck by holding down the LOAD button on the appropriate deck for 1 second and then releasing it.
