iPad can't be used as a monitor for live video display. The adaptor above is for transferring photos from a digital camera.

However, if you upgrade to the full VirtualDJ Pro then you could use your iPad as a remote control for VirtualDJ - Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/What%20is%20iRemote.html

You will still need to actually run VirtualDJ on a proper PC or Mac. VirtualDJ cannot currently be installed or run natively on an iPad, but this might be possible in a future version.

Another option is to use remote desktop software on your iPad to connect to your computer remotely and control VirtualDJ.

No problem I understand. Surely the controller might work though as its USB powered. I see guys are using the USB camera connector to use USB keyboards. I am keen to give it a try, I have som dj software on my iPad as well so will see if it does work. It will be great if you could include a fully functional virtual dj app for the iPad in future along with the use of midi controler

Technically it should be possible if the device you are using is fully class compliant (No special drivers needed) and the DJ software app that you are using has been designed to work with it (Or has MIDI mapping capabilities.)

MIDI controllers that are designed/intended to work with iPad should come with a suitable cable, or a dock for iPhone/iPad.

You will probably find that most current DJ software apps for iPad only support a few selected controllers (If any.)
