Hi all,
I just got a Numark DJ In a Box. I'm using a iM1 mixer, the only output from the mixer is one L+R RCA output. There's no USB port. Is it possible to get VDJ timecode vinyl to still work via this? I was under the impression that some sort of USB inferface would be needed? Not sure how to do it. Is it possible that I could plug the RCA output from the mixer into my PC via 3.5mm and have VDJ listen to the timecode to understand?
Kind regards,
Dylan

good question. To be able to use VDJ you will have to ether buy a external audiointerface or a mixer with builtin audiointerface.
I do recomend this product: http://www.hercules.com/uk/DJ-Music/bdd/p/119/deejay-trim-4-6-scratch-starter-kit/#product_desc it comes with a good audiointerface, virtualvinyl timecodes and you are ready to go.
You do not have to buy this audiointerface but it's price is gr8 cause you get the timecodes to, if you buy an other audiointerface you have to buy the timecodes anyway. This package also comes with a limited edition of VirtualDJ that allows you to play TimeCodes, so you dont have to pay the full price of VirtualDJ but instead upgrade to Pro for a cheaper price (if you want to).
