I am new to this stuff, I have an American Audio VMS4.1 and I use a macbook and I run VDJ Pro. I really like Virtual DJ and would love to continue to use it. Now here is my question - With Traktor software you can use 4 Decks ( Which I have with my VMS4.1 and can set up 4 decks ) Now I saw a video that shows Traktor using 4 decks 2 of them to play the tracks and the other 2 decks they have set up to use with the Traktor F1 controller to add samples and loops to the tracks while they are playing. I would love to be able to do this with VDJ. Is there a piece of hardware similar to the Traktor F1 controller that I could use with VDJ that i can run on Decks 3 and 4 while I play tracks on 1 and 2.
Thanks
Thanks

You can plug all manner of stuff in to VDJ and map it to control things - but at this point in time the sampler in VDJ is pretty basic.
You can load up 12 samples and trigger them from pads on a MIDI controller, change the volume of each one, loop them or play them single shot.
It's the looping part that lets VDJ down though. You can't just set a sample to loop and have it stay in sync.
I really do hope that Atomix have paid attention to what NI have been doing with Traktor, because having something similar to the Remix Decks available in VDJ would be excellent.

VDJ samples loop fine and sync perfectly to the master deck if you record them in from a deck properly first.
