I like using vdj because it has everything a dj can ask for, but how can i get it to be as tight as serato. In Serato when i press play it plays on time , when i hit a cue point it cues on the spot, when i scratch and release, its right on point! I know vdj could do the same, i just need to tweak the registry tool. Can anyone guide towards tweaking the registry tool so that i can be on point all the time

Not sure what your talking... i never had to change any settings aside from jog wheel respond on my controller... but aside form that.. my cue points and play button are always on point and never delay... perhaps you should consider adjusting your pc/laptop so that it runs faster and you dont experience such delays... thats just weird i never had any of those delays

When you say Serato are you talking about Scratch Live, Itch or DJ Intro?
If you're using one of the above, you must be using either Rane hardware or a supported controller.
The Serato software only works with the supplied hardware - support is integrated and it's all designed to work together.
VDJ on the other hand is much more open, and supports almost any MIDI and/or audio device that will plug into your computer.
Because of this "Jack of all trades" ability, the second half of the saying applies - "master of none".
There are many more variables involved.
What's your sound card? Your controller? Are you using the same sound card/controller with the Serato s/w and VDJ?

Please check that your computer is optimised for VirtualDJ: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Performance%20Issues.html
Also, please specify what hardware (If any) you are using. It's possible that it's not been configured correctly for use with VirtualDJ.
