Have you done "Add To DB" before you Recurse? I use a Toshiba and it reads and plays all of my iTunes library.

Are any of the songs DRM protected (.m4p)?
If so, please see http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/iTunes%20DRM.html
Also, which version of VirtualDJ are you using? Do you have the latest Apple Quicktime installed?
Also, see http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Error%20loading%20song.html

Yes I added to database and none of my tracks are protected... everything works swimmingly in Serato and am hoping for a similar result with VDJ

Find the folder in your C:\ D:\ E:\ drive, right click on each...., and "Add to db", it will import into VDJ, sometimes you might have to shut down and restart VDJ to take full effect of all the import covers and other fields...
Good Luck,
Joey..
