Hi,
sorry I don't speak fluently English
I bought a Hercules 4-mx and I'm a full dj Pro Licence member
I'm playing with a Asus intel core I-7, 3610 Om, 2.3 Ghz, memory 8 Gb (K55V) and Windows7
I have a problem with the low frequencies which are too heavy... even with the level button of the low frequencie.
I try to find a solution on my problem but the only solution that members gives me is to download the "16-band equaliser" effect.
I donwload the effect.
I want to active this effect with Keyboard 'Shift+E' all the the time of my mix on all the decks
I change it in the mapping Key of keyboard 'Shift+E' but i don't find the right Action to use it on all the decks during all the time of my mix.
Can anybody help me ?
Thank you
and sorry for my english... :-)

Your not the only one who thinks that but the VDJ TEAM has listened to the masses and when VDJ8 comes out you'll be able to change the frequencies.
Hang in there bro, the change you want is coming........

Oh, is that what he meant? The low frequency EQ....
I thought he was saying that the bass was too heavy on all his music.

thx,
but it's effect plug-in and it must be active if you want to use it...
and by each new charging of track the effect becomes inactive...
doesn't exist an other solution to set the effect active during all the mix, or when you are charging a new track ?

you can disable "fx reset on load" in the options menu so the effects remain on when the track is changed ;-)

go into the mapper and include the mapping for it in "ONINIT"
it will be
effect "effect_name" active on
but you need to specify it for all the decks eg.
deck 1 effect "13 band equalizer" active on & deck 2 effect "13 band equalizer" active on & deck 3 effect "13 band equalizer" active on & deck 4 effect "13 band equalizer" active on
you may need to change the effect name if it is different to 13 band equalizer... I'm not really familiar with that effect to know it's name

I use the 32-band equaliser but do you have any idea how to configure this equaliser to the best way... I mean to decease the bass and to increase the trebles...
And it's working but each deck takes his own effect.... and i cannot have only one effect '32-band equaliser' for all of my 4 decks...
I mean, i have to configure 4 effect '32-band equaliser' to each deck.... not so easy to get the same configuration on the 4 decks...
Any idea ?

I think you should be looking into why all your music needs adjusting like this.
If you have purchased it online then it should sound correct without needing any equaliser.
If you have recorded it directly from CD it should also sound correct.
How are you listening to the music? Speakers? Headphones?

I purchased all my music online...
and i use speakers from Logitech 2.1 type Z-2300
With my RMX dj consol, there is no problem... the sound is good and not to heavy in the bass...
but with my 4-Mx the sound is not so good, to much bass....

Guys, watch out, OP might have an issue with speakers in his specific room. He might have some bass modes in annoying frequencies causing the bass to be overly heavy.
I would suggest OP to check if other software has the same effect - if yes, start moving speakers away from walls, etc...
