Sujet: Numark Cue

ok sooo, ive been trying for a minute to save for this program but havent been abl to clear the funds, even been here soliciting help. I Have a question. What is the difference between Numark Cue and Virtual DJ? ZZounds has a payment plant that i have used before. I can order Cue today but what do lose, Function wise. Is this a Atomix Clone or what?

It's the same program, the only thing is that when VDJ puts out an update you have to wait a week or better for Numark to approve the update. Zzounds is good and the payment plan is Nice.

So my hercules dj trim, serato timecodes, Stanton DJC.4 will all work with cue....Can i use Virtual dj Skins, like for my Stanton DJC.4
 
Also on zzounds site it has windows in the description...so is it one disk crossplatform installation because i might install on my mac when i buy that ? The mac will be the only computer with the software once i get it. Or will i have to repurchase a mac version
 
You can use any skin of your own choice with Numark Cue if you wish along with any of the other available add-ons: http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/index.html

It should come with both the PC and Mac version on the disk, but once registered, you can download the latest version of the Mac and PC versions from the Download Center at any time (The version on the disk will probably not be the latest v7.2)
 
ok i just ordered Numark Cue, have to wait till damn near thursday to get it...but will i come here for support or do i join a numark cue forum
 
and also if numark and vdj choose to end ties in the future where does that leave me...
 
You can get support here - Simply register the Cue serial number once you get it and you will have the same access to the forums and add-ons as VirtualDJ Pro users: http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html

We do also offer an optional crossgrade to from Cue to VirtualDJ Pro, so in the unlikely event that the product was discontinued in the future, you could crossgrade to the full VirtualDJ Pro for a small fee.
 
CUE is still even in existence? Why buy Numark's re-branding of Virtual DJ when you can just buy Virtual DJ itself??
 
because me being a single custodial father with a son in private school my funds are limited and thru zzounds i can pay 62.$ a month for 4 months.....
 
well sandy push my delivery date back to nov 5. dat was a bad chick..ahhhh, but i hope all north east'ers are alright....
 
shame ur delivery has been delayed. but im sure it will be worth the wait.

just out of curiosity what was the upgrade cost if you had used ur le licesence to upgrade to vdj pro??
also did u have to pay a deposit as well as the 4 payments of 62$ or is cue a lot cheaper than vdj ??
 
My upgrade is $250 from le to pro. The cost of cue is $249. my first payment was 62.00 plus $3.95 processing fee. So to me it works out the same, but in a way that affordable to me.
