I know I should add this to the existing support thread, but I'm seeing more and more DJ's with the similar problem that perhaps this topic can be set apart so we can drill into the heart of the issue.
The problem is the jogwheels latency, no matter how sensitive I make the dials, or how much tweaking I make with the registry I just cannot get them to play nice with VDJ. Allow me to explain: When I move the jogdial back with my hand, as if to cue the beat, the waveforms and the beat itself gets nudged in a direction that I'm not intending it to go. Granted, some songs work fine and cue up with ease with my hand movements, but other songs (most of them, 90%) seem to have a mind of their own. I pull the record back to the first beat, the dial sways away from the place I'm holding under my fingers.
I was a proud owner of the NS7 and NS6, both designed for Itch but seemed to work great (with VDJ) with no issues at all. So that leads me to believe that it's not a software issue, moreso a hardware issue.
I've seen and heard many DJ's say that they have had no problem with the VDJ integration with the ddj-sx, so my question is, what are YOUR settings? Please help describe where you have the sensitivity set to, perhaps any registry settings, too. Any advice would be of great help to me and the whole ddj-sx/vdj community.
And FYI- I'm running 7.3 with a MacBook Pro (2011) with 4 gigs of RAM.

Do you mean the actual song position in VirtualDJ moves by itself or just the position indicator LEDs on the jogwheel?
The position indicators on the jogwheel are controlled by the DDJ-SX firmware, not VirtualDJ, so will not match the scratch position indicator in VirtualDJ.

The actual song. I'll have the first beat under my fingers then when I release to match the beat of the song playing it lags behind my reflex.

Found the solution!
Unchecked "colored waveforms", now it runs like a champ.
How on earth could colored waveforms screw up the controller??

It could be that they are using too many resources of your computer. Calculating and displaying the coloured waveforms is far more complex than the normal ones. Some video cards may also not be able to handle it.

Looking for Ddjsx owners to replicate an issue I'm having. Check this thread please. http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/177753/General_Discussion/Anyone_have_an_explination_or_answer_to_my_DDJSX_problem_.html
