ha... this one is easy... YOU CAN"T CONNECT YOUR CONTROLLER TO VDJ HOME FREE EDITION..... but sinc eyou got your controller it should have came with a copy of VDJ LE... all you have to do is delete VDJ HOME FREE and install the VDJ LE that came with your controller. and if your serious about djing or use all of the advance feature and or use vdj to the max... YOU NEED to PURCHASE VDJ PRO... you should be entitle to VDJ PRO at a discount price since you got the controller with VDJ LE.

Well in the home free it will only work for 10 minutes at a time. You should register the controller so you won't lose the serial number and download the LE version that is available for the product.

Well.. The problem is, the disk was snapped into pieces when I opened the box. I guess the Boxing day fiasco must have messed it up. Anyways, if I were to buy the full version how would I link it up?

if you got vdj pro.... it should be plug and play for that controller... native support for most of hercules products.... and if not once you have your vdj pro you can download the mapper for it... and you would need the drivers for your herc controller... which you should be able to download from hercules. and seem weird that your disc "BROKE" anyways i would register the controller and like the dude that commented it... if your controller is legit you should have a serial number that would entitle you to a copy of VDJ LE.(that you can download)

It doesn't seem to be plug and play except for the mixing software that came with it. I tried to map everything but most stuff doesn't work like the jog wheels.

Even tho your CD was smashed, there should be a virtual dj LE license key in the packaging. Register that with your forum login. This will allow you to download the version that came with your controller.

I'm afraid, there in lies your problem. You will need to purchase Virtual DJ Pro to be able to use the controller without a time limit.
Here is the list of differences between the versions, as you can see, only pro or a bundled version can use a controller.

And here is a link for purchasing.

Right like i told you b4... and now knowing this new info... yea seems like yoru controller only comes with djjuced software... so you have to buy VDJ PRO or i think their is a verison that might let you connect your midi controller but it will be a limited version.... either way you can't go wrong buying vdj pro! hope you fix your problem now that you know the solution

The controller you have is in the supported controller list. Register your pro serial number with your account and get the latest version from your download center.
