Sujet: Disappointed in Customer Support - Page: 1

I am very disappointed in Virtual DJ's Customer Support right now!

They haven't been responding to my tickets and their customer support phone line isn't picking up any of my calls!

If there is a moderator or employee of tech support viewing this, please take note of this because I bought your program in the hopes of mixing my music to create some cool things, but I can't do that if my the serial number you provided with the product I purchased at London Drugs isn't valid!

I am sorry you are disappointed however it is only an Atomix member of staff that can deal with this.

As you are aware it is the New Year holidays and I guess the staff are on holiday as are most other companies.

Please be patient and one of the team will respond as soon as possible. You already posted this on the tech support forum and we are aware of the issue.

What is London Drugs BTW? ... I am not aware VDJ can be bought legally unless online or at a trade show.

Keith

London Drugs is the store where I bought Virtual DJ Broadcaster!
It came in a box set that contained the disk and a piece of paper with my serial number on... Tried typing it in and it didn't work

I never knew you could buy it in stores. As stated above one of the teamers will respond to your support ticket.

Keith

That doesn't look legit at all. The description matches however the box doesn't and the brand is Encore?

From this site Broadcaster is $49 so something is not right. Please wait for a teamer to respond.

Thanks

Keith

The ticket is already being handled by a member of our support team :)

The problem is with the company Encore as you have not supplied a valid serial in any of your tickets. If you like to get this sorted quicker send me an email via serials@virtualdj.com and we can sort this out.

BTW you were calling during holidays when the phone system is down ;)

We are available Mon - Fri 9 to 5

Canadian Bacon.

If the offer is too good to turn down, then its prob a hoax ! - Totally different packaging, doesn't look the real McCoy !

iv read the whole thread and im a bit confused as to what is being said here???
your reply has neither said that encore is a legitimate brand selling virtual dj, or that this is an illegal copy and that encore copys are fake
and dont come with legit product codes.....

most of us are led to believe that apart from cue and virtual vinyl the only way to purchase vdj is here.
if this encore product is a fake please clarify this so no license users wont make the mistake of thinking there is a cheaper way
to get a copy and getting ripped off :)

I saw Virtual DJ also at Best Buy! I was surprised... it was only the broadcaster version.

DJKIT.COM (http://www.djkit.com/virtual-dj/virtual-dj-pro-7.html )in the UK is advertising Virtual DJ Pro 7 Full Retail Video / Karaoke DJ Software for £219.00, they also have a price promises if you find it cheaper they will undercut it.

IS this legitimate as I also thought you could only get VDJ from this site?

Is it CUE they are selling as it is very misleading from the look of the advert?

from the look of the advert it is vdj not cue, as i would think that and promoting of the product should be
under the name cue not vdj.....

maybee letting other sites sell vdj is part of a new push to get more users to use legit copys and not
use the pirate copys from torrent sites. i have noticed a big increase in vdj advertising on a few torrent sites
recently.

would be nice to have some sort of response from the vdj staff on this as it can lead to confusion and wrong info
given to new members seeking advice from forum members

The VirtualDJ Broadcaster BOXED products are legitimate retail sales items. It is the ONLY VirtualDJ BOXED product that is on the market through several outlets in the GLOBAL marketplace (with exception being the VirtualDJ LE that ships with controllers).

As for the DJKit.com posting, I have asked this question to our Marketing Staff and COO to get an answer to it's legitimacy. But as the answer has always been, if you are buying PRO (either version - Basic or Full) from anywhere other that VirtualDJ.com - then you are purchasing an illegal product and should not waste your money.

Will let post back once I know an answer about DJKit.com.

Cheers.

I buy from djkit.com quite a lot and have great trust in them. This would be a blow to confidence if this is discovered to be non-legit.

DJKit is the only presence for ESP Music Disco Ltd. They are a true "clicks & mortar" business and are always present at BPM in the UK. Maybe a deal was struck there, I'll wait for the official response...

Cheers,

Roy

Ditto Roy, DJKIT are a good supplier. Maybe it's the boxed version of Cue being described as VirtualDJ.

Will wait to see the outcome.

Keith

One of the three pics they're using for the product clearly says Cue - but the pics of the actual s/w GUI show Virtual DJ....
