Sujet: VIRTUAL DJ FOR SALE ON EBAY

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Someone is selling Virtual DJ PRO 7.3 on Ebay, used item. I wonder if buying this software will get me all the benefits. Can someone transfer his rights on the software to someone else? I will appreciate a good and honest answer. Thanks.

There are also a few people selling illegal copies of the Software. So don't waste your money.

In Quebec Canada it's free everywhere. Always has been... For $150 you get 75,000 karaoke songs on a hard drive and a whole bunch of software to play it including virtual dj. Now everyone is using Virtual Dj and there is no one to Police it here. Everytime I walk into a club or party I see VDJ and ask what version, etc, ask how much they paid and they tell me it came with music or karaoke on a hard drive. I see on a website called "Les Pacs", Ebay and Kajiji all the time for the past 5 years. These Karaoke/music/softwares are available here even on posters in restaurants and grocery stores. I even told the owner of a large grocery chain that the person who put up the poster is selling illegal software and music but he showed no caring and the poster is still up 3 months later. The French community seems to get away with copy rights here just like in China. Again, no Policing

I've seen a few djs using older version 5 of cue/vdj down here in Montreal. I guess they sell it with a 500gb hd loaded with music & a copy of numark cue. Even a dj once told me why I paid for vdj when I could've gotten a cracked version. I say get the full pro on the website if you're a pro dj you should get your stuff legally. Pay your dues.

It's a simple calculation - if you are a professional you should use original software because you get updates and it works.

Using cracks means - having crashes because ob bad cracked version, no updates, unprofessional job - no more job.

It's an easy calculation - if you get 150 bucks for a gig and get fired you loose all future gigs. If you own the original it's only the money of 2 gigs but then you make profit and can go on in the future because the Software doesn't f**k you up ;-)

i know of a few Montreal Djs working in clubs 7 nights a weeek using cracked versions for over 5 years and their happy with it, never had crashes and don't care about updates. If it works to date why update it they tell me. They actually think they paid for it in the price of the harddrive.

Funkmasterfrank, you're gonna have to let it go. There is nothing you can do, so don't make yourself crazy about it.

Do you think I care? I'm just adding my two cents in as while I recover from a stroke. There has been many posts about the same subject over the years.

I know you are recovering, that's why I wrote the post.
