Anyone use this combo?

I'd like to know what sound settings you use so that I can hear out my computer speakers but use headphone to cue tracks...

Is this possible or should I return the DJ/iO?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks dude, I'll give it a shot.

I played around with it the other night using the same settings but couldn't quite get it working, I see that I didnt check the latency box.
Hopefully that's the missing link.

When you say "computer speakers", you don't mean the ones built in to a laptop....do you?

The idea of having an external sound interface is that you don't use the crummy little onboard speakers.

Using the DJIO, you connect speakers to the output of that.

***Again, as noted above, this setup is for EXTERNAL speakers, not the ones BUILT IN on ur laptop......

I use your exact same setup, here is summary of my config. screen......

Inputs: None
Outputs: Headphones.......Master chan: 1&2/ Headphones chan: 3&4
Soundcard: ASIO Driver......Numark Audio USB Audio Device........Ultra-Latancy box: checked

Well all I have at the moment is a Bose Companion 1, which I plug into my laptop. So I'm looking to be able to cue my tracks...

I've played several times at bars but going from my laptop to 1/4"

1/4" into DI box

XLR from DI into main XLR snake

So in theory would I be able to use the computer speakers and DJ/iO to cue tracks.....
hope this makes sense
thanks for the responds guys

So I've never been able to cue my tracks.

Use the DJIO and plug your speakers and headphones into that.

At home, plug the Bose into the output of the DJIO.

Anywhere else, feed the output of the DJIO to the PA system.

The issue at the bar is the PA is in a booth tucked in the corner. So in order to play on the stage I have to plug into the XLR snake which is located right on the stage. Very shitty setup.
