Correct.

Virtual DJ also wont run on the iPad itself - it's only used as a remote control.

So except of laptop what can I use it with?

I would imagine anything anything that can run a full Windows or Mac OS........... don't quote me though.

So only the new surface pro?

Or any other laptop/ultrabook/tablet/hybrid that runs a full x64 or x86 (non RT) version of Windows.

Hi all you follow DJ's

I was thinking of purchasing an iPAD so that I can use the VirtualDJ Remote app to control my Virtual DJ application, but my question here is that will the remote application work with my Vistual DJ application on my windows laptop? Can the apple software control my windows app or does the remote just work with Virtual DJ Apple edition?

thanks in advance.

iRemote application can control VirtualDJ on both Windows and Mac computers.

Thanks DJDAD for confirming this for me... I will be heading to my local BestBuy to purchase a new iPad then. :)

I also was wondering if the Remote app will be available for Android devices? I did a search and did not find it, just wondering if anyone knows if it will be available and when?

thanks for the links and info.
