What up fam,
I've been searching here for DJ's who actually use two analog decks, mixer and VDJ PRO for regular applications.
I've found one. Where are all the Control Vinyl users at?
I am an old school DJ who loves the feel of vinyl under my fingers, call me stuck in the '80's but it's what I grew up on and to me is the only way to rock a party.
I'm most comfortable with two turntables, a mixer and my VDJ PRO on my laptop. So, represent if you're old school like me. Holla back at ya boy and tell me what you're using to rock the party!

I've got a TCV setup but to be honest since I've got my SC3900s I've barely touched them.

Tables all day everyday!! I'll use them with my Ecler MIDI mixer or I'll use my DJC.4 with if I want to use alot of loops and samples. But Yeah I'll always use my tables over a straight controller any day.

I am in the process of re-hooking up the decks to only rock the vinyl at all my future gigs & Virtual DJ Radio Broadcasts

Anyone know where I can get a hold of VDJ timecoded vinyls. I definitely wanna use the 1200's instead of controllers (NS7).

I use a VCI-400, Audio 8 & timecodes which gives me the best of the new and old. It's a shame that the VCI doesn't support timecodes but you can't win em all I guess. In regard to latency using timecodes I use 7.3 with CV02 and m447's and I can't notice any issues if the colored waveforms are disabled and the timecode signal is properly set up. There is a noticeable sway of the tracks when mixing of about 1 bpm but I never notice any sticker drift when scratching, cueing or beatjuggling.

Got one here, although I have not used it since VDJ 7.1. I have been having issues with the time code signal dropping off. Learned to DJ when vinyl was your only option (late 80's).
I do have 3 set ups
for clubs i typically use CDJ or Turntables. Lately I have been using my TT's with Serato SL due to the issues I have been having with VDJ.
I also have a couple of controllers I use when playing mobile gigs.

As said above you can use Serato but you can also use Numark Virtual Vinyl timecodes, I've had the most success with them.

Feels good to see we are still in the house!
Numarks TT-200's or Techniques 1200 with either my RMX2 or 4-mx as my mixer and Serato timecodes (Just got a brand new pair of red ones from the Rane sales manager himself)
Keep rocking!
