im running windows 8 and using american audio mx19 mixer but i keep getting sound drop out does anybody know why this is happening and how i can stop this.

In Config-->Sound Setup, next to the ASIO selection, enable the Ultra latency and see if that helps.
If not open the ASIO Control Panel of your AA, and set the latency to a higher value.
