Hi Folks.
Just puirchased a new lappy and when I plug it into my DJ gear I get this loud distortion. When unplugged and running on battery the sound goes away and there is no hum. So I'm assuming I need some type of an eliminator. I already use a furman power conditioner to plug all my electrical cords in. Advice as to what I need to purchase to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks folks

I got myself a humx exterminator and it has solved my problem for under 100.00. and alot safer than getting rid of the ground plugs

I have had this issue in the past as well. To be honest, dollar store for an extension cord and no more hum. Fixed for 2 bucks

just had a cable issue. the xlr had the shield off of the 3 connection.. it was touching the case. try changing out the cables.. then the power and so on...
