Hey all
Just purchased a new sony vaio all in one for my new gig PC, BUT I had to install and update direct X and since I did that all my video playback stutters. The audio is fine. Video plays normally in all other applications. This only occurs in VDJ. I've never had this issue before, so I don't even know where to begin; other than rolling back ( I haven't disabled that yet)
I did this because when I installed VDJ it wouldn't open because it said d3dx_33.dll was missing
So searching through the forums I found this: http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/95136/Virtual_DJ_Plugins/Plugin_not_working__Controls_not_showing__DX_File_Missing_______Read_this_before_posting_____.html?page=1
Some guidance is needed here...
Thanks in advance!

It sound like you have a video card with YV12 bug, use VDJ Registry_Tool and check VideoYV12bug at the bottom in the video section. Hope this help.

If it is an Intel video card set VideoMemMaxUse to 16 in the registry tool. As above YV12 can help on some systems but not all (ones that misreport their capabilities).
